Joining to the Pakistan Governments ‘Green’ initiative – students of Farabi Primary School and Corks Secondary School Karachi planted trees in the school yard. We hope the shade of these trees will be enjoyed by generations to come.

Staff of Zafar Sultan Memorial Trust Canada celebrating their pay increase. They are a well deserving dedicated team who put in their day and night to improve the life of over 550 students. We also wish them happiness and prosperity.

Miss Farah and Miss Mehwish presented a tableau called “MAAN” – teaching moral character to all the students. It was entertaining yet meaningful and well received by the students.

Mr. Haroon Khan, chairman of ZSM Trust Canada had meetings with almost all the Parents of different classes. It was a really good exercise to share the value of education and the Parents were highly motivated.

Children are always in a growing age and were delighted when they received free Bata shoes in their correct sizes thanks to the school management.

Paving of 14000 sq feet of corks secondary school front ground took place for a safe & clean walking ground. Thanks to school’s generous friend, students will enjoy this paved grounds on their return from summer holidays.

Students are collecting school exercise books for free which are printed for Farabi & Corks Schools.

As a help for the students new uniforms are distributed to all the students. Each child is given two sets of uniforms.

On 24th March, 2018 we had an elaborate celebration to celebrate our 12th Result Day and our students put up a brilliant show.

16th March, 2018 marked an enjoyable evening. A farewell party was organized in honor of the outgoing class X. Chairman, Mr. Haroon Khan attended this event. Student enjoyed specially made Burgers, Gola Ganda, Fruits & Juices.

On March 19th 2018 Cork’s Secondary school grade 10 students went on a educational trip to the largest edible oil refinery in Pakistan at port Qassim – a project of FWO group.

Students were shown the process starting from the jetty where ships comes from overseas bringing raw oil, to sending it to the reservoirs and then taken to the refinery and shipped out to different oil factories. This once in a life time trip has given information and boost the confidence and morals of students.

Chairman, Mr. Haroon Khan himself accompanied just to encourage students. Mr. Rasheed Jaan Mohamned joined the students for lunch organized by his organization. FWO group is a very strong supporter of Zafar Sultan Memorial Trust schools.

Burger day was celebrated at Farabi primary school and Corks secondary school on Jan 9th 2018. A little treat for students from our management.

Admission exam was held in Farabi primary school and Corks secondary school for grade KG and grade 6 on Jan 15th 2018. 453 applicants gave the exam for 66 seats in KG.
While a there is a common local practice of unfair school admissions based on ‘who you know’, ZSM trust has made sure they are perfectly fair and the procedure is clear and transparent for all needy and deserving children.

Students of both Farabi Primary School & Corks Secondary School were interviewed by a local TV channel. ZSM Trust Canada’s board chair also gave an interview to a Pakistani TV.

Apart from free education, uniforms, shoes as well as books, copies, pencils are provided, thanks to donations from the trust and its friends.

Renovation of Corks secondary school adopted by zafar sultan memorial trust Canada in 2016 at a cost of Rs eighty lacs +.
